Sherri holds a Ph.D. in pharmacology from the University of Washington School of Medicine, with published research in neuroscience and diagnostics. She began her intellectual-property career as a federally registered patent agent and rose to Vice President of Intellectual Property, Contracts and Business Development.
Working in Dr. Leroy Hood's orbit at the Institute for Systems Biology, she built the patent portfolios for multiple biotech companies in diagnostics. She led several mergers as in-house patent counsel. Today she co-chairs SURSAC, advising the Washington State Legislature on recovery housing policy — and teaches Medical School 101 inside the Home Study.
Frank is a licensed real estate broker of more than 10 years and the creator of the 41 Shared Housing Fit Factors™ that define an ideal shared home. He personally oversaw the remodel and rehab of all 8 Kate's House Foundation® homes — plus many other properties along the way.
His background spans international marketing and branding; he founded the first U.S. pickleball paddle company and served as President of the USA Pickleball Association. A songwriter at heart, Frank leads the marketing, branding, and vision — and he's the voice walking you through the homes on camera.
